Purple Rain [Soundtrack]

This 1984 album by Prince and The Revolution is the soundtrack to the 1984 film Purple Rain. The music is mostly pop, rock, and R&B. My favorite song is "When Doves Cry". Other songs here are "Take Me with U", "The Beautiful Ones", "Computer Blue", "Darling Nikki", "I Would Die 4 U", "Baby I'm a Star", and "Purple Rain". I also like his Ultimate Prince album.

This collection has many songs by R.E.M. from the 80s to the early 00s. The band R.E.M. has a great sound and plays very well. My favorite 80s song is "Stand". The 90s songs "Man on the Moon", "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?", "Losing My Religion", "E-Bow the Letter", "Daysleeper", and "Everybody Hurts". The 00s songs "Bad Day" and "Imitation of Life". A great collection of their songs for R.E.M. fans.

The Power Station

This is my favorite album by The Power Station. From 1985, it has my favorite song by them; "Some Like It Hot". Some other songs I like are "Lonely Tonight", "Get It On (Bang a Gong)", "Get It On", "Murderess", and "The Heat Is On". The 2005 edition also has remixes, a DVD of their videos, and a live performance from 1985.

The Definitive Collection

This collection has many songs from the 70s to the 90s by Whitesnake. The songs are blues rock, hard rock, and heavy metal. Some of my favorites are the 80s songs "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love". Other songs I like are "Don't Break My Heart Again", "Walking in the Shadow of the Blues", "Slide It In", "Fool for Your Loving", "Judgement Day", "Now You're Gone", "Give Me All Your Love", "Still of the Night", and "Pride and Joy".

Van Halen - Fair Warning

From 1981, Fair Warning is a strong album of dark hard rock music. My favorite song is "Sunday Afternoon in the Park". Other songs here are "Mean Street", "Dirty Movies", "Sinner's Swing!", "Hear About It Later", "Unchained", "Push Comes to Shove", "So This Is Love?", and "One Foot Out the Door". I also like their Van Halen and 1984 albums.

This is a very popular Van Halen album. It is much different sounding than their darker 1981 Fair Warning album. From 1984, it has some of their best songs. My favorite is "Jump". Other songs here are "1984", "Panama", "Top Jimmy", "Drop Dead Legs", "Hot for Teacher", "I'll Wait", "Girl Gone Bad", and "House of Pain". I also like their 70s album Van Halen.

The Final Countdown

This is my favorite 80s album by rock band Europe. From 1986, it has some of their most popular songs; "Carrie" and "The Final Countdown". Some other songs I like are "Rock the Night", "Cherokee", and "Heart Of Stone". The 2001 edition also has live versions of "The Final Countdown", "Danger on the Track", and "Carrie".
