Purple Rain [Soundtrack]

This 1984 album by Prince and The Revolution is the soundtrack to the 1984 film Purple Rain. The music is mostly pop, rock, and R&B. My favorite song is "When Doves Cry". Other songs here are "Take Me with U", "The Beautiful Ones", "Computer Blue", "Darling Nikki", "I Would Die 4 U", "Baby I'm a Star", and "Purple Rain". I also like his Ultimate Prince album.

This collection has many songs by R.E.M. from the 80s to the early 00s. The band R.E.M. has a great sound and plays very well. My favorite 80s song is "Stand". The 90s songs "Man on the Moon", "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?", "Losing My Religion", "E-Bow the Letter", "Daysleeper", and "Everybody Hurts". The 00s songs "Bad Day" and "Imitation of Life". A great collection of their songs for R.E.M. fans.

The Allman Brothers Band Brothers and Sisters album is from 1973 and is southern rock music. It has their popular song and my favorite; "Ramblin' Man". Other songs here are "Wasted Words", "Come and Go Blues", "Jelly Jelly", "Southbound", "Jessica", and "Pony Boy". I also like their Enlightened Rogues album.

Enlightened Rogues is southern rock music and is from 1979. My favorite song is "Pegasus". Other songs here are "Crazy Love", "Can't Take It with You", "Need Your Love So Bad", "Blind Love", "Try It One More Time", "Just Ain't Easy", and "Sail Away". I also like their Brothers and Sisters album.

Let There Be Rock is my favorite 70s AC/DC album. It is a very strong album of hard rock and blues rock. Songs here are "Go Down", "Dog Eat Dog", "Let There Be Rock", "Bad Boy Boogie", "Problem Child", "Overdose", "Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be", and "Whole Lotta Rosie". I also like their Back in Black and The Razors Edge albums.

This is a live rock album by Peter Frampton from 1976. The live songs on the album are from 1975. The album has his popular 70s rock song "Show Me the Way". This collection has songs by Styx from the 70s and 80s. Their 80s hit song "The Best of Times" is my favorite. Some other songs I Like are "Mr. Roboto", the 70s songs "Lady '95" and "Babe". "Lady '95" is re-recorded for the compilation. The other 70s songs "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)", "Renegade", and "Come Sail Away".

Linda Ronstadt has many popular songs in many different music genres from the 60s on. This collection has her songs from the 60s to the 90s. My favorites are "Blue Bayou" and "You're No Good". The Power Station

The Power Station

This is my favorite album by The Power Station. From 1985, it has my favorite song by them; "Some Like It Hot". Some other songs I like are "Lonely Tonight", "Get It On (Bang a Gong)", "Get It On", "Murderess", and "The Heat Is On". The 2005 edition also has remixes, a DVD of their videos, and a live performance from 1985.

This is my favorite hard rock album from the 80s. Appetite for Destruction is from 1987, and is Guns N' Roses debut album. It is one of the best hard rock albums, having some of the most popular hard rock songs of the 80s; "Welcome to the Jungle", "Sweet Child o' Mine", and "Paradise City". Other songs here are "It's So Easy", "Out ta Get Me", "My Michelle", "Nightrain", "Mr. Brownstone", "Think About You", "You're Crazy", "Anything Goes", and "Rocket Queen". I also like their Use Your Illusion I, Use Your Illusion II, Live: Era '87-'93, and Greatest Hits albums.

This collection has many of Bruce Springsteen's songs from the 70s to the 90s. Some 70s songs I like are "Born to Run", and "Badlands". Some 80s songs I like are "Born in the U.S.A.", "My Hometown", "Dancing in the Dark", "Glory Days", and "Hungry Heart". I also like his Born in the U.S.A. album.

The Complete Greatest Hits

This collection has many of folk rock band America's songs from the 70s and 80s. My favorite 70s songs are "A Horse with No Name", "I Need You", "Ventura Highway", "Tin Man", "Lonely People", "Sister Golden Hair", and "California Dreamin'". The 80s songs "You Can Do Magic" and "The Border".

This collection has REO Speedwagon's songs from the 70s and 80s. Some of my favorite 70s songs are "Ridin' the Storm Out" (Live), and "Keep Pushin'".
